I think the new Pokemon anime is about to start or has already started. What are we at, Season 17 or something?

I think it's currently season 16 or 17, though I can't be sure. Pokemon has a ridiculous number of seasons, so it's kind of difficult to remember where we're at when new seasons come out!

I only like/follow up to Season 9. Have read a few shipping fics but we don't need to go there unless someone wants to.

On the topic of Pokemon shipping fics, I remember one time on the LLF IRC, somebody (I think it might actually have been you, Joey!) sent me an Ash x Dawn fic. It was quite interesting and it caught my attention quite a bit!~

Also: ONLY 1-3 MONTHS BEFORE POKEMON X/Y. It is going to be sooooo great, no matter how terrible the names of the new Pokemon.

Let me bump this just to say --

Pokemon X and Y have just came out. Who here has it? (or wants to get it?) I might get it for either Christmas, or my birthday.

I think I'll ask for it for Christmas. I guess I'll need to ask for a 3DS as well.

I watched some people play it yesterday and it looks like it's worth getting. I never liked Gen IV or Gen V in terms of the few 3D elements, but Gen VI looks like it'll have 3D as a huge benefit.
