I've never really sat down and watched Seinfeld. A lot of people like it, so I guess I might need to start watching it. I caught a glimpse of it tonight and some parts made me laugh a little bit.

What exactly is this Seinfeld I hear about a lot sometimes?

Seinfeld is a sitcom that aired on NBC a couple of years ago. It run for 9 seasons and 180 episodes.
There's four main characters (Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benes, George Costanza, and Cosmo Kramer) and usually they go to Monk's Cafe (diner) to talk about what happened to them. Not all of them at once though.

There's more to it than what I described, though. Most episodes have 4 plots revolving around each character. At the end, some (or all) of the plots end up being connected together.

The show still airs in most places (in reruns).
