Say my name (Joey), and it will get my attention. My IRC client blinks whenever someone says my name ("pings" me). Usually some people just come in and say "Hello?" and then leave when nobody says anything. I don't see that as easily because, while I'm connected a lot of the time, I don't normally pay attention to this IRC channel as much. |

Does anyone even use the IRC? It's usually only me, you and Celarix that go there and even then, none of us usually talk. I am usually active in the #lemmysland channel though. |

I made this thread because a lot of our newer members have been coming in once or twice but I've missed them every time. |

The trick is to download an irc client, turn on the thing and leave it on. |
