I do. I have two in my house, one in my parents' room, and one in my grandma's room. I don't record things that much, but when I do I record Regular Show, new episodes of T.U.F.F. Puppy when they come on, and some other stuff.
P.S.: There's a Lemmy's Land forum topic with the same (almost) exact wording. I didn't write that. So I re-wrote this. That's a weird coincidence...
It recorded about ten minutes of the proceeded episode of The Cosby Show as well.
You made it do it on purpose or on accident?

We had a DVR for quite some time, and we used it extensively. One thing about my family is that we really don't get into much of the newer shows on these days, with exceptions such as How I Met Your Mother - we mostly watch older shows that we like, such as Home Improvement and whatnot. Anyway, the DVR typically had quite a bit of programming recorded, which was always useful when there was nothing else good on.

What happened to the DVR?
P.S.: New rule: If you don't have a VCR, you can talk about your DVR.

I had a TV with VCR built in, which I used to use a lot until just last year when the digital switchover happened. I then changed to a more up to date TV with Freeview built in. I no longer use VCR and not sure if VCR recording still works here unless there is a special way to connect it to the newer TVs.

In all honesty, my family has actually never owned a VCR. Ever. Not even, like, today.
But I'm not really sure if I'd use it, because, like Shadow, I don't really watch TV much these days. I'm more of a YouTube guy when it comes to boredom.

I've recorded quite a few things. A lot, actually. Here's some- T.U.F.F. Puppy (Most episodes) Pokemon (various episodes from seasons 2-9 recorded from Boomerang) This year's Super Bowl Regular Show (various episodes, including most of a marathon I taped a month ago) Some Christmas specials A few movies (Gremlins, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Shrek (first few minutes missing), Inspector Gadget, Pokemon Heroes, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Scooby-Doo, Garfield: The Movie(taped over)) Seinfeld (various episodes) Various episodes of the first Scooby-Doo show from Boomerang, some episodes from the Twilight Zone (1950s series, taped over specials), one episode of I Love Lucy, and a c**p-load of other things (Mario cartoons recorded from DVD, Super Smash Bros. gameplay, etc.) Most things I've taped don't have the commercials, but some do.
