Sorry for the bump but I think the easiest way to get visitors is to be unique and offer something any other site doesn't. What works for LL may not work for others, originality counts.

No problem. Yeah, I started the site kind of because I wanted my own version of LL. Design-wise, I think it turned out nicely, but I'm very short on content and active members. Not sure where this site will go in the future, but it definitely won't go down.

Thing to remember is it took Lemmy 13 years to get to where he was with LL. I'm sure like you he started off small and over time, through the years the more support and visitors he got he began to build off of his ideas and ideas that other folks gave to him. I know all the work I've done wouldn't of been possible without advice that I found through him either. It really just takes time, hard work and a lot of patience for a site to grow.

Yeah, I've been invested with other projects so it's been a bit difficult. There was a spike in activity a few weeks ago, with a few new users and lots of activity with CFTs, but that kinda died down. I'm also not sure what'll happen with LLF's plans to start a gaming site (or whatever it will become), but I'm sure I'll be invested in that somehow.

I understand how it is being wrapped up in other projects, for sure. Can only do one thing at a time without pulling hair out of your head, the joys of being human.

Hopefully this site gets more members and activity soon. It just needs more advertisement and promotion.

I could make some short comics and email them to you. Call it the "Funny fields" or something. And on the side, add a "Tourist Attractions" with the links under it.

I think he means a category (like "Main" and "Misc.") called "Tourist Attractions", with a link to the Funnies section under it.

There's also a bunch of really nice-looking (if I do say so myself!) categories that aren't used right now because I have nothing to put on their pages. Tourist Attraction-like sections aren't really in there, though, as per my original plan for the site.

I know you don't like to put other sections in, but I believe putting more sections in other than fanfiction would allow more content to be submitted. May I suggest:

Chucklehuck Cola Comic Saloon (funnies section)
Border Jump Links (renamed links section)
Tolstar Times (renamed update history)
Hooniversity Library (renamed fanfic section)
Oho Orchestra (music)
Anuboo Arcade (fangames)
